- 1 slice of rustic country bread
- 150 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove
- Maldon salt
- 20 g fresh basil leaves
- 50 g extra virgin olive oil

Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil and a clove of garlic. Cook them cut side down, without stirring, for around 10 minutes until soft and juicy.
Meanwhile, slice the bread, brush it lightly with olive oil and toast it under the grill until golden.
For the basil oil, blanch the basil leaves for 20 seconds, then plunge them into cold water. Blend with the olive oil to create a fragrant, vibrant green dressing.
To assemble: spread the tomatoes over the toasted bread, sprinkle with a pinch of Maldon salt, drizzle with basil oil and finish with hand-torn Artigiana burrata.
Serve immediately and savour the beauty of simple, authentic ingredients.
